LONGMONT, CO., July 30, 2012 – IZOD IndyCar Series driver Justin Wilson and Meet‐Meme.com, the Milwaukee‐based social media trading card company, announced a partnership today which will provide Justin with a range of social media services, including a custom‐designed QR code allowing fans to quickly follow him across all of his social media platforms.

The relationship was sparked by an innovative social media campaign at Milwaukee IndyFest. Event promoter Andretti Sports Marketing invited 26 social media influencers from the Milwaukee area to the Milwaukee Mile and paired each one with an IZOD IndyCar Series driver. Jonathan “Brew” Brewer, Director of Awesome at Meet‐Meme was a guest of Justin, driver of the #18 Sonny’s Bar‐B‐Q Honda for Dale Coyne Racing, and became his social media shadow for the weekend. It wasn’t long before Justin and Brew started talking about how they might work together after the race.

“The #indyfest 26 was a great idea and showed how creative use of social media can bring new fans to the IZOD IndyCar Series,” said Justin, who won the Rolex 24 at Daytona in January and the Firestone 550 IndyCar Series event at Texas Motor Speedway in June. “When I met Brew at Milwaukee I knew right away that he and Meet‐Meme had something special to offer. So it’s exciting to be partnering with them and to offer fans a quick and easy way to engage on twitter, facebook and youtube as well as my website. It’s also great to have Brew’s ongoing advice on how we can get the most out of all our social media activity.”

“We are excited to partner with Justin to provide him with his own personal scan code and digital dashboard,” said Jonathan Brewer. “Justin is the first to receive his own vanity URL, custom designed QR Code, and integrated twitter feed into the desktop version of his Meet‐Meme dashboard. We are honored to be a part of such a progressive IndyCar Series experience ‐ bridging the online and offline worlds. Now fans can easily connect with Justin online after they meet him.”
